THE OPPORTUNITY

The Media Sales Manager is responsible for the media sales strategy, international advertising organisation (AO) relationships, supporting country managers with their local agencies, and developing commercial models to generate advertising, sponsorship and broadcast revenues.

This person will establish partnerships with key AOs across the different territories. The person will work with the local country heads and partners to define the advertising and sponsorship strategies at a local level. They will work closely with the tournament and publisher managers on the tournament plans. They will also work closely with the content manager and will be responsible for working closely with the technology teams to implement technology solutions which support the revenue generation of advertising and sponsorship revenues.

The objective is to build the Dynasty platforms as a compelling proposition for media sales to agencies and their customers across the markets. Linking the core products which Dynasty deploys in markets like tournaments, content, stores to sponsorship and media revenues, and content including broadcasting.

The role will work closely with the local marketing and account teams in each of the markets, initially Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, India, and North America.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish the media and advertising strategy with the country managers and local partners.

• Identify and develop relationships with the AOs in each of the markets. Work with the country managers to shift advertising spend to the Dynasty platform in the market.

• Develop commercial models with the defined markets to encourage TOs to bring tournaments to the Dynasty platform.

• Works with internal sources to maintain accurate market and market segment profiles to drive decision-making. This research will drive understanding of customer's attributes including: behavioral, attitudinal & demographic, supporting the advertising sales approach.

• This person will translate publisher and tournament roadmap maps into sponsorship and advertising opportunities. They will work closely with the technology teams to ensure delivery of the technology related advertising initiatives.

• Works with the local teams and advertising partners to create compelling reason for local brands to shift marketing spend to the Dynasty platform.

• They will be able to define and develop data and analytics requirements to facilitate sales along with track the impact of the campaigns and their results.

• Serves as a primary content and subject resource for thought leadership on media and advertising, and the relevant ecosystem around them.

• Work with local and international advertising and media companies to develop commercial relationships which bring:

       o Sponsorships

       o Broadcast partners

       o Advertising revenues

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

• Worked in marketing and or content management role for several years.

• Worked in the game and media industry.

• Worked with or as media buyer / agency.

• Understands inventory and monetization of the inventory.

• Understand Mar-Tech.

• Experience in digital companies, working on web and app-based solution.

• Passionate about gaming and media.

• Loves technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies.

• Self-starter who has worked in an environment that fosters entrepreneurial minds.

• Believes in culture of transparency and trust.

• Can move from strategy to implementation.

• Open to learning new ideas outside scope or knowledge skillset.

• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
